Connect your satellite receiver to your computer via a RS-232 serial cable–connect the cable between the serial ports on both devices.

Click on the port selection option and in the loader utility, and set the serial communication port number–unless you have more than one serial port, it should be “Com1.” 7. Locate the update file on your computer using loader utility file explorer. And you’ve located the update, click on the loader option to send the update to your receiver.
